Bus Driver – Caithness (Thurso)

Location: Lovers Lane, Thurso, KW14 7EQ

We are seeking qualified PCV licence holders to join as Bus Drivers in Caithness. This full-time, permanent role offers a pay rate of £14.60 per hour, with overtime paid at £16.50 per hour for hours worked beyond 42 each week. Typical annual earnings are around £30,500 based on a 42-hour working week, and the training rate is also £14.60 per hour.  Shifts are worked on a rota basis of any five days over seven, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for driving a modern fleet safely and professionally, ensuring reliable and comfortable journeys for passengers. You will deliver excellent customer service by being approachable, patient, and supportive, creating a welcoming environment for all customers, especially those who depend most on bus services.

To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid PCV licence, and have the right to work in the UK. A safe and courteous driving style, a positive and friendly approach, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service are all essential. You should also be flexible, reliable, and keen to work as part of a supportive team.
